About this specimen
A slender quartz point encloses several tiny Fanta-orange spessartine garnets from Fujian. The translucent gray crystal has a clean upright outline, with warm amber inclusions visible through the center and lower faces. Small surface veils soften the upper termination without hiding its geometry. The close view shows the garnets suspended at different depths inside the quartz and emphasizes the unusual inclusion pattern. Dimensions: 0.96 × 2 cm / 9.6 × 20 mm / 0.38 × 0.79 inch. Estimated weight: 1 g / 0.04 oz, calculated from its dimensions.
