About this specimen
A warm tan siderite flower sits on a mixed matrix of apatite, purple fluorite, and mica from Inner Mongolia. Curved rhombohedral blades form the central rosette, surrounded by pale rounded crystals and scattered lavender zones. Silvery mica flashes between the denser aggregates. The ultraviolet view records the apatite response, while the normal-light image preserves the siderite's honey-brown color and the association's broad low arrangement. Dimensions: 5 × 2 × 3.5 cm / 50 × 20 × 35 mm / 1.97 × 0.79 × 1.38 inch. Estimated weight: 41 g / 1.45 oz, calculated from its dimensions.
