About this specimen
Slender silvery forms run across a narrow, upright matrix, creating a dense pattern of intersecting lines. Bismuthinite is associated with fluorite and small quartz crystals on this Chifeng piece. The close view shows the metallic-looking texture along the long side and a paler rough edge behind it. Seen from farther away, the specimen has a compact pointed outline, while the detailed angle brings attention to the fine striated growth rather than broad reflective crystal faces. Dimensions: 1.7 × 1.4 × 2.6 cm / 17 × 14 × 26 mm / 0.67 × 0.55 × 1.02 inch. Estimated weight: 6 g / 0.21 oz, calculated from its dimensions.
