About this specimen
A slender quartz form covered by pale hemimorphite rises from an uneven matrix. Small blue veszelyite details follow the tall projection and nearby cavities, while rounded dongchuanite-group growth is recorded in the association. The close photograph reveals these blue accents against the pale upper surface. A wider angle shows the narrow crystal rising above a broader dark and tan base, with small hollow areas around its lower junction. Dimensions: 2.7 × 1.2 × 2.9 cm / 27 × 12 × 29 mm / 1.06 × 0.47 × 1.14 inch. Estimated weight: 9 g / 0.32 oz, calculated from its dimensions.
