About this specimen
Dark tetrahedrite and warm metallic chalcopyrite create the base for several rounded calcite crystals from Guizhou. The pale calcite forms have cloudy centers and clearer-looking edges, contrasting with the dense reflective mineral surface beneath them. Siderite is also recorded in the association. The second view reveals additional spherical calcite projections around the sides and a small yellow metallic detail near the upper edge, concentrating varied colors and habits in a miniature specimen.
