About this specimen
Transparent lavender fluorite from Yaogangxian reveals a miniature interior of pale dolomite and dark green chlorite. Pronounced purple edge zoning outlines the crystal faces, while natural growth steps add structure without obscuring the view through the cube. Dolomite partly enters the reverse and gives that side a porcelain-like finish. The main fluorite crystal is about 2 cm wide, and the specimen arrives in a 5.2 cm mineral box for protected cabinet display.
Approximate maximum dimensions: 5.2 × 5.2 × 5.2 cm / 52 × 52 × 52 mm / 2.05 × 2.05 × 2.05 inch, estimated from the source 5.2 cm mineral-box envelope. Estimated weight: 133 g / 4.69 oz, calculated from the bounding volume.
