About this specimen
Lemon-yellow gearksutite patches brighten a narrow ridge of pale lilac creedite. The fine creedite points gather into overlapping sprays, leaving the yellow growth visible between them and along the crest. A close view reveals the contrast between these densely packed points and the softer-looking yellow areas. The piece spreads horizontally above a darker base, with a higher central cluster and a tapering end that give it an asymmetrical outline. Dimensions: 4.2 × 1.5 × 1.9 cm / 42 × 15 × 19 mm / 1.65 × 0.59 × 0.75 inch. Estimated weight: 10 g / 0.35 oz, calculated from its dimensions.
