About this specimen
An amber calcite crest rises from a broader pale base, with several small points grouped around its darker upper center. The warm orange color is strongest along the upright section and fades into creamier growth toward the bottom. Viewed from the side, the crest becomes more irregular and the shorter neighboring crystals come into view. The resulting silhouette resembles a small rising shoot, while remaining visibly a cluster of intergrown calcite crystals. Dimensions: 2.5 × 1.4 × 2.6 cm / 25 × 14 × 26 mm / 0.98 × 0.55 × 1.02 inch.
