About this specimen
Amber-colored calcite forms a compact group of overlapping blades and broader pointed faces. A taller crystal rises near the center, while thin pale amber edges spread outward along the lower portion. Light passes differently through the thicker central areas and the narrower outer forms, creating darker honey tones beside brighter yellow reflections. The side view reveals the group's uneven depth and several small recesses between the layered faces, giving the piece a sharply textured outline. Dimensions: 3 × 1.6 × 2.4 cm / 30 × 16 × 24 mm / 1.18 × 0.63 × 0.94 inch. Estimated weight: 9 g / 0.32 oz, calculated from its dimensions.
