About this specimen
Pale apophyllite crystals rise around metallic galena and dark sphalerite in this Inner Mongolian association. Transparent to creamy points create an open sparkling base, while blocky steel-gray contacts and warm brown mineralization add weight near the center. The source lists two A/B pieces, so the record remains on variant review until the photographed specimen and dimensions are matched. Two views show the contrasting glassy, metallic, and resinous lusters. Dimensions: 2.3 × 1.6 × 2.6 cm / 23 × 16 × 26 mm / 0.91 × 0.63 × 1.02 inch. Estimated weight: 7 g / 0.25 oz, calculated from its dimensions.
