About this specimen
A saturated blue lower band rises into a paler, finely crystalline crest. This hemimorphite from Ruyuan has an uneven triangular outline, with a shallow recess separating part of the top from the brighter blue front. The side view reveals its relatively thin profile and the rounded edge of the lower growth. Rather than isolated crystals, the piece presents a continuous blue surface with a visible change in texture toward the top. Dimensions: 3.5 × 1.7 × 2.5 cm / 35 × 17 × 25 mm / 1.38 × 0.67 × 0.98 inch. Estimated weight: 14 g / 0.49 oz, calculated from its dimensions.
