About this specimen
Clear cubic fluorite sits on dark hubnerite with pyrite and quartz from the Yaogangxian Mine. Transparent-looking square faces contain visible inclusions and rise above a black-brown metallic matrix. White quartz forms a bright coating around the upper edge, while small bronze pyrite details appear between darker crystals. The reverse view reveals additional fluorite and the association's compact triangular profile. Dimensions: 2.9 × 1.7 × 2.7 cm / 29 × 17 × 27 mm / 1.14 × 0.67 × 1.06 inch. Estimated weight: 14 g / 0.49 oz, calculated from its dimensions.
