About this specimen

This large clear quartz point is crowded with crystals inside crystals. Dozens of small enclosed quartz crystals and fragments float through the body, catching the light at different angles so the interior glitters like broken ice. Chinese collectors have a name for a gathering like this: a 'big reunion' of included crystals.
The point has been polished on its tip and main faces to open clear windows into the interior, while the lower body keeps its natural rough texture. The quartz carries a faint warm champagne tone, and from one side a rainbow flashes through a polished window. A substantial, heavy point that stands on its base.
