About this specimen
A single large, translucent colourless calcite crystal with rounded rhombohedral faces sits in a nest of clear quartz needles, with a smaller calcite at the right. Fluoresces under a UV torch, as the photos show.
Fujian calcite on white quartz at 65 g; a miniature with one focal crystal framed in needles.
