About this specimen
A mound of white aragonite tufts and baryte blades with a patch of orange-yellow mimetite at the lower left, the colour reminiscent of crab roe on cream. Fluoresces under a UV torch, as the photos show.
Moroccan mimetite with aragonite and baryte at 213 g; a small cabinet piece with a rare lead arsenate. Wash hands after handling.
