About this specimen
A plate of white aragonite tufts with golden-brown baryte rosettes standing across the upper face and orange-yellow mimetite along the left. The baryte blades are sharp and the aragonite is fluffy.
Moroccan mimetite-baryte-aragonite at 520 g; a small cabinet piece with three species. Lead arsenate present: wash hands after handling.
It measures 11.6 × 8.2 × 5.9 cm (4.57 × 3.23 × 2.32 in) and weighs 520 g (18.3 oz), a cabinet-sized piece that makes a strong centrepiece on a shelf or in a display case. What you see in the photos is the piece you receive; any known repair, mount or treatment is disclosed above.
