About this specimen
Cream to pale yellow calcite spheres fill a deep pocket in gray Fujian matrix. Rounded crystals range from tiny beads to larger smooth balls, creating a dense interior garden against the darker cavity wall. The outer host rock has a neat display face and irregular natural edge. Two views reveal the depth of the vug, repeated spherical habit, and softly varied yellow-white color. Dimensions: 3.5 × 3.5 × 3 cm / 35 × 35 × 30 mm / 1.38 × 1.38 × 1.18 inch. Estimated weight: 29 g / 1.02 oz, calculated from its dimensions.
