About this specimen
A few sharply outlined dark libethenite crystals stand apart on a tan matrix scattered with green malachite. Their broad reflective faces contrast with the finer green coating and granular host. The larger crystal near the edge is particularly clear in the close view, where its angular shape becomes the main focal point. This is a small, relatively flat matrix specimen with distinct individual crystals rather than continuous coverage. Dimensions: 3.5 × 1.8 × 2.4 cm / 35 × 18 × 24 mm / 1.38 × 0.71 × 0.94 inch. Estimated weight: 22 g / 0.78 oz, calculated from its dimensions.
