About this specimen
Azurite “suns” — flat, radiating rosettes of royal-blue crystals — bloom across this pale Australian claystone like ink blossoms on paper. One large double rosette anchors the centre, a constellation of smaller suns orbiting it, each disc velvety and saturated against the soft white ground.
The formation is unique to a handful of Australian occurrences, where azurite crystallized in flat cavities between clay layers; nowhere else does the mineral present its blue this graphically. Collectors treat good multi-sun plates as category pieces, and the contrast needs no lamp to perform.
It measures 10.2 × 6.4 × 5.1 cm and weighs 230 g. Natural and untreated; the photographs show the exact specimen.
About Azurite

Frequently asked questions
Will I receive the exact specimen shown?
Yes. Every specimen is a single, one-of-a-kind piece, and the photographs show the exact item you will receive — never a stock photo.
Is this Azurite natural?
Yes — specimens like this form naturally. As is standard in the trade, some pieces are gently cleaned or trimmed; we photograph the actual specimen and describe its origin and condition conservatively.
How is it packed and shipped?
Orders ship worldwide with fully insured, tracked delivery, carefully packed to protect fragile crystals.
Can I return it?
Yes — there is a 14-day return window.
