About this specimen
This exact reddish-brown andradite garnet crystal has the supplier-described compact dodecahedral form and a fine natural surface texture. Small natural surface cavities accent the reddish-brown crystal and its compact dodecahedral form.
Mineral: Andradite garnet (calcium iron garnet)
Locality: Xixu Town, She County, Handan, Hebei, China
Approximate dimensions: 2.20 × 2.00 × 1.90 cm / 22 × 20 × 19 mm (0.87 × 0.79 × 0.75 in)
Estimated weight: about 22 g (0.78 oz)
The supplier reports an overall size range of 1.7–2.2 cm. The 2.20 cm maximum extent uses that source range; the 2.00 cm width, 1.90 cm depth, and weight are proportional estimates, not direct ruler or scale measurements.
