About this specimen
Clear quartz prisms cross a compact group of green epidote blades from Sichuan. One tall transparent point rises at the left, while smaller quartz crystals extend sideways over a dark olive matrix. Bright epidote fills the contact zones and follows several crystal edges. Two views reveal the open crossed arrangement, sharp terminations, and green mineral accents distributed around the white-gray quartz cluster. Dimensions: 2.2 × 2.7 cm / 22 × 27 mm / 0.87 × 1.06 inch. Estimated weight: 5 g / 0.18 oz, calculated from its dimensions.
