About this specimen
Twin clear quartz points rise through green epidote in this Sichuan miniature. One tall prism and a shorter companion show sharp transparent terminations, internal veils, and scattered dark inclusions. Olive epidote crystals cluster around the lower contacts and climb partway onto the quartz faces, giving the base a mossy texture. Two views show the open spacing, different point heights, and bright contrast between colorless quartz and the green included matrix. Dimensions: 2.2 × 2 cm / 22 × 20 mm / 0.87 × 0.79 inch. Estimated weight: 4 g / 0.14 oz, calculated from its dimensions.
