About this specimen
A single Fanta-orange spessartine crystal sits on clean white feldspar from Fujian. The rounded dodecahedral garnet shows rich cinnamon color and glassy reflections, standing alone near the center of a small triangular matrix. Fine feldspar texture creates a bright neutral backdrop. The close view emphasizes the crystal's individual faces, warm color, and clear separation from the pale host around it. Dimensions: 2 × 2 cm / 20 × 20 mm / 0.79 × 0.79 inch. Estimated weight: 5 g / 0.18 oz, calculated from its dimensions.
