About this specimen
Bright orange spessartine garnets dot a clean white feldspar matrix from Fujian. Three small translucent crystals sit on separate ledges, with the deepest Fanta-orange garnet near the lower front and smaller accents above. Fine feldspar texture makes the warm color stand out despite the miniature scale. Two views show the garnet positions, their glassy reflections, and the matrix's narrow upright shape. Dimensions: 1.5 × 0.8 cm / 15 × 8 mm / 0.59 × 0.31 inch. Estimated weight: 1 g / 0.04 oz, calculated from its dimensions.
