About this specimen
A complete-all-round floater of pale yellow, high-lustre quartz crystals with white calcite plates on top, black marmatite and brassy chalcopyrite grains at the base and tan dolomite in the gaps. Five species on one piece.
Inner Mongolia floater at 185 g; a small cabinet piece with a lot of variety and no matrix.
At 9.7 × 6.7 × 4.6 cm (3.82 × 2.64 × 1.81 in) and 185 g (6.5 oz) it is a cabinet specimen that makes a strong centrepiece on a shelf or in a display case.
