About this specimen
A specimen from Qinglong, Guizhou, sold by the supplier as flower-like gearksutite with gibbsite and allophane. In daylight it is pale cream, tan and grey, with clusters of small flower-shaped crystals across the surface. Under UV light it fluoresces in blue, violet and green tones, and after the light is switched off it gives a green phosphorescent glow; both are shown in the photos and video. The supplier gives a size of about 6.3 cm, and the caliper in the photos agrees. Natural minerals may have small imperfections; what you see in the photos is what you get.
