A single misty cube holds the summit of this Yaogangxian specimen — blue-lavender fog inside, edges traced in deeper violet where the final growth zone deposited its purple. Below it the matrix turns rugged: near-black ore minerals threaded with pale crust, sheltering a handful of smaller lavender cubes in its hollows.
Softly zoned crystals like this one shift with the weather — overcast light emphasises the mist, direct light wakes up the purple rim — and the dark, unruly matrix keeps the composition anchored. A characterful pocket piece rather than a polished showpiece.
