About this specimen
Blue gibbsite forms a tall sculptural coating edged by purple creedite from Guizhou. Turquoise and sea-green growth folds across the front in rounded ridges, while pale lavender rosettes trace selected margins and inner seams. Brown-gray matrix remains visible through the central recesses. Two views reveal the double-sided mineralization, shifting blue gradient, and intricate border between the gibbsite coating and creedite flowers. Dimensions: 5.7 × 1.8 × 4.3 cm / 57 × 18 × 43 mm / 2.24 × 0.71 × 1.69 inch. Estimated weight: 37 g / 1.31 oz, calculated from its dimensions.
