Four smoky quartz points, clear at the tips and darkening toward the base, stand up from a bed of pale feldspar and greenish mica; the colour is described as a gradient. The points are sharp and complete.
Yunxiao, Fujian, smoky quartz on pegmatite matrix at 90 g; the gradient colour shows best against a light background.
