About this specimen
A flat, oddly shaped pale green fluorite crystal, its surface recrystallised into a fine second generation, sits at the left of a spray of slender clear quartz needles with small white calcite crystals among them. Fluoresces under a UV torch, as the photos show.
Fujian recrystallised fluorite with quartz in a 20 g thumbnail; the flat fluorite form is unusual and the needle spray is intact.
It measures 5 × 3.5 × 2.1 cm (1.97 × 1.38 × 0.83 in) and weighs 20 g (0.7 oz), a small cabinet-sized piece that displays well on a shelf or in a cabinet. What you see in the photos is the piece you receive; any known repair, mount or treatment is disclosed above.
