About this specimen
A slender Colombian quartz crystal contains deep green internal layers and bends subtly near its base, matching the source description of growth affected by the surrounding rock. The pointed prism is partly transparent, with stacked inclusions, etched areas, and a darker forest-green core visible through the broad face. Hand-held views show its long blade-like profile, natural termination, and the contrast between clear outer quartz and the included interior. Dimensions: 5.3 × 1.2 cm / 53 × 12 mm / 2.09 × 0.47 inch. Recorded weight: 11 g / 0.39 oz.
