About this specimen
Long green quartz crystals radiate from a garnet-bearing matrix from Inner Mongolia. Several slender prisms point upward and outward, their mossy coatings softening the crystal faces while preserving the pointed terminations. Smaller crossed crystals fill the center, and warm brown garnet-rich matrix supports the group below. The reverse angle shows additional quartz points and the open three-dimensional structure around the compact mineral base. Dimensions: 3.2 × 3.2 × 5.6 cm / 32 × 32 × 56 mm / 1.26 × 1.26 × 2.20 inch.
