About this specimen
Bright orange rounded forms fill a shallow opening within a darker gray-green outer crust. Fine curved bands follow the rims of several larger lobes, while smaller smooth-looking domes gather in the center. The side view reveals the thickness of the outer edge and the strong color change between the vivid interior and muted exterior. The source spelling leaves the precise mineral identity unresolved, so this descriptive record preserves the visible features without treating an uncertain mineral name as confirmed. Dimensions: 9.7 × 4.1 × 6.1 cm / 97 × 41 × 61 mm / 3.82 × 1.61 × 2.40 inch. Recorded weight: 313 g / 11.04 oz.
