About this specimen
Pale blue-gray feldspar displays bold repeated steps across an upright crystal face. Several raised bands narrow toward the top, creating a layered angular pattern above smaller pale growth at the base. Warm brown mineral details remain along the upper edge. The angled photograph reveals the thickness of the stepped face and the fine lines running across each level, emphasizing surface structure within this compact specimen from Xuebaoding. Dimensions: 3.8 × 1.5 × 2.4 cm / 38 × 15 × 24 mm / 1.50 × 0.59 × 0.94 inch. Estimated weight: 10 g / 0.35 oz, calculated from its dimensions.
