A pale green fluorite crystal shows a distinct violet square within its translucent interior. The broad outer faces have a softly textured appearance, with lighter edges surrounding the darker central area. The angled photograph changes the outline of the internal violet zone while retaining its strong contrast against the pale surrounding crystal. Small reflective points and shallow surface irregularities give the exterior a different texture from the clearer-looking central window.
