About this specimen
Broad peach-colored calcite faces sit among much finer sparkling growth on a shallow mineral group. Several smoother faces remain exposed at the corners and across the front, while small pale crystals gather along their edges. The second angle shows a larger rectangular-looking face beside a rounded cluster of finer growth. Color varies from soft pink through warmer peach across the piece, making the contrast between smooth faces and granular areas more prominent than any single projecting crystal. Dimensions: 8 × 4 × 5.5 cm / 80 × 40 × 55 mm / 3.15 × 1.57 × 2.17 inch. Estimated weight: 140 g / 4.94 oz, calculated from its dimensions.
