About this specimen
A tall, complete quartz column from Inner Mongolia is wrapped in green chlorite and scattered with pale pink petal calcite. One face carries numerous small flower-like calcite clusters, while the reverse shows more of the chlorite coating and the intact quartz structure beneath. The calcite reportedly fluoresces under ultraviolet light. Measuring approximately 9 × 4 × 3.5 cm, this substantial upright specimen combines a crisp crystal tip with dense botanical texture.
