About this specimen
Guizhou creedite at 4.1 cm; a miniature. Creedite grown as a crust of small rounded heads packed tightly together, the surface reading like popcorn with cream and pale grey tones across the piece.
Creedite forms sprays and radiating clusters of slender prismatic crystals; the Qinglong material from Guizhou is the source collectors know best for the species.
Guizhou's Qinglong antimony-fluorite district is the classic source for creedite sprays and continues to produce zoned fluorite and calcite.
Dimensions place it in the miniature range, 4.1 × 2.9 × 2.6 cm (1.61 × 1.14 × 1.02 in). Condition is otherwise as photographed.
