About this specimen
Purple fluorite cubes rise from a broad powdered-dolomite matrix from Xinjiang. Two intergrown violet crystals dominate the upper ridge, showing translucent edges and deeper color toward their centers. Fine cream dolomite coats the tan plate in a soft granular layer, with a small pale crystal near the lower edge. Two views reveal the fluorite geometry and the matrix's naturally tapered display shape. Dimensions: 3.8 × 3 cm / 38 × 30 mm / 1.50 × 1.18 inch.
