About this specimen

A shallow fan of milk-white quartz points opens out of a snow-white crystalline base, the tallest terminations bunched near the middle like a low ridge and the rest stepping down toward the rim.

The contrast is what carries the piece. The underside and the bulk of the plate stay opaque and sugary, while the free-standing points sharpen into glassy faces that hold a soft translucence at their tips. Quartz (SiO2) sits at 7 on the Mohs scale and has no cleavage, so a cluster like this one takes handling and a rinse in plain water far better than the soft carbonates it often shares a pocket with.

The plate runs 6.0 cm × 5.0 cm × 4.0 cm and weighs 90 g. It was photographed resting in the hand rather than on a base, and no stand is included; each photograph was taken of this cluster alone.

Frequently asked questions

Will I receive the exact specimen shown?

Yes. Every specimen is a single, one-of-a-kind piece, and the photographs show the exact item you will receive — never a stock photo.

Is this Quartz natural?

Yes — specimens like this form naturally. As is standard in the trade, some pieces are gently cleaned or trimmed; we photograph the actual specimen and describe its origin and condition conservatively.

How is it packed and shipped?

Orders ship worldwide with fully insured, tracked delivery, carefully packed to protect fragile crystals. A display base is included.

Can I return it?

Yes — there is a 14-day return window.
