About this specimen
Pale quartz crystals radiate from a compact central base, with two taller arms rising above the surrounding points. Small dark metallic pyrite details occur near the upper ends and along one lower face. The crystals range from clear-looking edges to cloudier white interiors. An angled view reveals the depth between the spreading arms and several shorter points at the sides, giving the specimen an open, branching outline above its low supporting group. Dimensions: 3.9 × 2.2 × 3.3 cm / 39 × 22 × 33 mm / 1.54 × 0.87 × 1.30 inch. Estimated weight: 37 g / 1.31 oz, calculated from its dimensions.
