About this specimen
A tall clear-looking quartz point rises from the center of a dark specular hematite group. Long black plates spread outward beneath it, creating a low, rounded base with bright linear reflections. Fine internal lines are visible within the pale quartz. The second photograph shows the point from a different side and reveals how its narrow attachment sits above the overlapping hematite fans, making the upright crystal the dominant feature. Dimensions: 4.5 × 4 × 4.5 cm / 45 × 40 × 45 mm / 1.77 × 1.57 × 1.77 inch. Estimated weight: 107 g / 3.77 oz, calculated from its dimensions.
