Sichuan orange-red wulfenite at 9 cm and 114 g; a cabinet piece with a colour accent. Contains lead: wash hands after handling.
Wulfenite is lead molybdate, forming thin, square, orange to yellow tabular crystals with an adamantine lustre; wash hands after handling.
Sichuan hosts Xuebaoding, Jinkouhe and Leshan, sources of aquamarine, scheelite, prehnite, gypsum and the epidote-quartz skarn specimens seen here.
The piece is cabinet in size, 9 × 3.8 × 3 cm (3.54 × 1.50 × 1.18 in) and 114 g (4.0 oz). Otherwise the piece is sold exactly as photographed.
