About this specimen
A compact thicket of long, grass-green pyromorphite prisms, the largest nicknamed big-bud, pointing in every direction from a small brown base. The crystals are elongated hexagonal barrels with a resinous shine.
Elongated green pyromorphite from Guangxi's Daoping district at thumbnail size; the prisms are longer than usual for the locality. Lead phosphate: wash hands after handling.
Size 4.4 × 2.3 × 2.1 cm / 1.73 × 0.91 × 0.83 in; weight 14 g / 0.5 oz. Miniature specimen, fits a miniature cabinet or a desk display. Sold as photographed, with any known repair, mount, treatment or condition note disclosed in this listing; colour is as true to hand as the photos allow.
