Guizhou transparent purple-edged fluorite at 12.2 cm and 208 g; a large cabinet plate with graphic patterning.
Fluorite crystallises in the cubic system and is prized for its saturated colour, glassy lustre and the way zoned phantoms appear when the crystals are back-lit.
Guizhou is the source of the collector creedite and hosts important fluorite, calcite and copper-mineral localities around Qinglong.
