About this specimen
Several large apophyllite crystals with pale pink bodies and green-tinted zones, the largest 5.4 cm across, grow on a plate of smaller apophyllite and calcite with brown druse in the gaps. The pearly cleavage faces catch light.
Fujian two-tone apophyllite at 11 cm and 237 g, with individual crystals larger than is usual for the Chinese material.
