About this specimen
Violet fluorite blocks project across the middle of a tall pale dolomite group. Darker purple bands follow portions of the clear-looking fluorite faces, while smaller pale crystals rise above and spread below them. The lower matrix narrows into an uneven supporting section. An angled photograph reveals the depth of the main purple block and the layered arrangement of the surrounding cream-colored growth, giving the specimen a slender outline with a bright central focus.
