About this specimen
A transparent-looking purple fluorite cube sits prominently above white dolomite from Xinjiang. Rich violet color concentrates toward the crystal center and upper edges, while lighter zones reveal internal layering. The surrounding dolomite forms a steep pale matrix covered with small rhombohedral faces. A second angle shows the cube projecting clearly beyond the host and exposes another purple area along the lower side, emphasizing both its geometry and elevated position. Dimensions: 3.7 × 2.2 × 5.6 cm / 37 × 22 × 56 mm / 1.46 × 0.87 × 2.20 inch. Estimated weight: 48 g / 1.69 oz, calculated from its dimensions.
