About this specimen

Three centimetres across and built from a handful of interlocking cubes, this Yaogangxian miniature leads with its largest crystal, one face turned flat to the viewer. That face is translucent smoky violet and darkens toward the interior; the cubes behind it lighten to pale lilac, carry a thin white quartz veil along their upper edges, and hold a few olive-green specks caught at the junctions between crystals.

Interpenetrating cubes like these grow when several nuclei start close together and run into one another, each surrendering the faces it cannot finish. Small fluorites often show the habit more clearly than large ones, which is the argument for collecting at this scale: the geometry is legible at arm’s length. Fluorite is Mohs 4 with perfect cleavage in four directions, so the sharp corners are the first thing a knock will take.

3.0 × 2.3 × 2.0 cm and 15 g, mounted on putty on the clear acrylic block pictured, which is included. What the camera saw is what the box will hold.

Will I receive the exact specimen shown?

Yes. Every specimen is a single, one-of-a-kind piece, and the photographs show the exact item you will receive — never a stock photo.

Is this Fluorite natural?

Yes — specimens like this form naturally. As is standard in the trade, some pieces are gently cleaned or trimmed; we photograph the actual specimen and describe its origin and condition conservatively.

How is it packed and shipped?

Orders ship worldwide with fully insured, tracked delivery, carefully packed to protect fragile crystals. A display base is included.

Can I return it?

Yes — there is a 14-day return window.
