About this specimen
Purple fluorite crystals combine cubic and pentagonal-dodecahedral-looking faces above a gray quartz matrix. The largest crystal sits near the center with multiple beveled planes and a transparent-looking violet interior. Smaller fluorites repeat the complex form around it, while pale quartz points fill the gaps. The second angle reveals their raised position and the compact triangular outline of this Fujian miniature. Dimensions: 2.5 × 1.7 × 2 cm / 25 × 17 × 20 mm / 0.98 × 0.67 × 0.79 inch. Estimated weight: 9 g / 0.32 oz, calculated from its dimensions.
